What to Wear: loose fitting, comfortable clothes that don’t bind at the waist are best. The studio can get warm, especially during more active classes, so dress accordingly.
Perfumes/Scents: Please refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes or scents to class.
Arriving: Please plan on arriving at least 5 minutes ahead of class time to maximize the contentment of your yoga experience.
Cell Phones: Please turn off your cell phone or pager upon entering the studio.
Shoes: Please remove your shoes upon entering the studio.
Mats and Props: It is best to bring your own mat and props. However, there are some mats, blocks, straps, blankets, cushions, eye pillows, and other props available for student use. Please replace any props you use neatly in its correct place. Remember to practice Asteya- the yogic precept of non-stealing!
Health/Release Form: All students must fill out a health/release form to attend classes. This is updated annually.
Injuries/Illnesses: Please inform the instructor if you have any illnesses or injuries.
Arriving To Class Late: If you arrive late and the “in session” sign is on the studio door, please open the door quietly without knocking. If class is still centering, please wait until centering has completed before setting up your mat.
Leaving Class Early: If it is necessary for you to leave class early, please inform the instructor and place your mat closer to the back of the studio so you don’t interrupt the practice of your classmates as you leave.
