 2010 Constant Contact All-Star

For a second year in a row, Constant Contact recognized Embodied Health with its All Star award!  This year, Embodied Health was recognized for the following reasons:

  • We communicated with our clients in all four quarters of the year
  • We maintained and updated our mailing lists often and obtained permission from all of our subscribers to send e-mail communications
  • We had high open and click-through rates, and low bounce rates
  • We used mailing list sign-up tools on our website and Facebook page
  • We used the social media tools Constant Contact provides to stay in touch with all of our clients.
  •
Of course, it's great to be named a "winner," but we hope the real winners are you, our clients, who benefit from targeted, comprehensive, and high-quality information about our services, classes, and projects!  As always, if you have any suggestions for improving the way we deliver services to you, we welcome your feedback.  Use our comment form to provide feedback that will be e-mailed directly to Lucinda A. Pepper.

     2010 Woman-Owned Business You Can't Live Without
In May 2010, the Minnesota Women's Press published their annual What Women Want issue.  What Women Want is a reader's poll of their favorite places to eat, shop, take the pet to the vet, get their car repaired, work on their health, and much more.

This year, Embodied Health was honored in two categories: Woman-Owned Business You Can't Live Without, and Favorite Class Just for Fun.  Thanks to all of our loyal customers for voting for Embodied Health!

2009 Small Business of the Year

On April 25, 2009, local wellness business Embodied Health, LLC was presented with a Small Business of the Year Award at the Neighborhood Development Center (NDC) Banquet.  The Banquet is an annual event featuring awards presented to small businesses founded by entrepreneurs who have participated in NDC micro-entrepreneur and other training programs.

Embodied Health, LLC was founded by St. Paul resident Lucinda A. Pepper in 2005.  Ms. Pepper attended the NDC micro entrepreneur training in Dayton’s Bluff.  In 2007 she located the business in South St. Anthony Park at 2500 University Avenue in the historic Triangle Building.  The Small Business of the Year Award was sponsored by the Dayton’s Bluff District 4 Community Council.  The award was presented to Ms. Pepper by NDC Executive Director Mike Temali, Senator Amy Klobuchar, and Senator-elect Al Franken.

Embodied Health, LLC provides therapeutic massage services, focusing on pain relief, injury rehabilitation and improving athletic performance; yoga classes, including prenatal yoga, gentle yoga, mom-baby yoga, and active yoga for all levels of students; personal yoga sessions; and somatic therapy to heal the effects of trauma.  Embodied Health provides excellent services at a fair fee.

Embodied Health encourages clients to actively commit to personal and community wellness, and strives to be a role model for contributing to our local communities.  Embodied Health has sponsored food drives for each of the last three years, with proceeds benefiting the Midway Community Food Shelf; has donated gift certificates to silent auctions held by local non-profit businesses, churches, and retail businesses; and has held a school supply drive to benefit children attending local schools.
