His teachings are grounded deeply in the guiding texts of yoga (known as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali), which is the most profound and complete text on the subject of yoga. Mr. Iyengar has been a dedicated practitioner of yoga for over 70 years.

You can attend this class even if you've never taken yoga before. Benefits include learning how to practice yoga with props, gaining strength and flexibility, and learning how to keep your body in good alignment both in a yoga class and in everyday life.
Continuing Iyengar Yoga Saturdays, 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. 6 + Months of Iyengar Yoga Exp. Required
You can attend this class if you have 6 or more months of Iyengar yoga experience. In this class you'll practice poses geared to your individual level of ability including inversions, deep twists, binds, and more.
